Want to shop locally? Here are some great sources for doing just that!

Join a CSA

CSA stands for community supported agriculture. All CSA’s are a little different. Some require pick-up at their farm or have a central drop-off location while others are delivered to your door. Some you pay up front for the whole season and others offer convenient pay-as-you-go options. Some are organic and some are not. Some allow you to select items you want in your share, while others pack your share with set items dependent on their harvest that week.

The nature of a CSA is that you support a local farm and they provide quality, freshly picked products. CSA’s are great for helping you eat seasonally.  If you’re wanting to join a CSA on the Central Coast, Blosser Urban Garden is the place to join!

Local Harvest

This is an incredible online database that helps you locate farms, farm stands, and farmers markets in your local area.

Eat Wild

Eat wild is similar to Local Harvest, only it’s focus is to help you find sources for meat, dairy and eggs.
